  23. Before anyone goes out to buy a Genesis joystick:

  25.   They work, but not entirely. Extra characters are often registered, so they
  26. can't be left plugged in while you type. Usually when you play a game these
  27. extra characters would be just gibberish to the C64, so they usually
  28. can be used once a game is loaded and ready.
